Whitworth???

Got this bullet at auction in a group lot of 50 bullets from Gettysburg. Having a problem identifying this one.

Diameter: .490 average Length: 1.158

There is a small amount of wood in the cavity...either rosewood from a boxplug or it hit a tree. I'm thinking either a Whitworth or an Enfield with boxplug that was fired in the wrong caliber rifle.

If it is an Enfield, what gives it the .490 diameter? Was it shot in the wrong caliber rifle?
