White's XL Pro

Reeseb

Member
Hi. I'm new to the forum and have a question about the XL Pro I just bought. It was doing fine tonight (I hunt only at night) but then after an hour or so I when I'd get a nice coin hit I'd dig the hole and the recheck it and get nothing. I checked my battery level and it still showed in the good range but it was toward the low end. Can this happen with these machines when the battery is low? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Reese

I know when my QXT Pro's batts get down to around 9V, the machine gets real flaky...

HH,

need help with tweeking the most out my dfx e i have had this since 2000 and have tried to set up programs for getting deeper.the results is more confusion i am not a techy type anyone have any sugestions on how to get deeper? thanks

Rule of thumb start with the preset relic mode and tweak for your area for depth while keeping a stable unit..Actually feel a DFX was not my cup of tea and prefer an XLT which may be the best Whites ever produced..and nope haven't used the V3 but the feedback seems to be a mixed bag and why fix what aint broke...

Reese,

detectors tend to false when batteries are low. The XL is a great machine and I regret selling mine before. I always used it in SAT mode.

Dont sell yours...

Eric. Holland.
