Whites XL Pro Tone Mod

New member
was looking at getting another XLPro and was wandering if anyone has an opinion on the V3 tone mod
by a guy named mrand from poland. I read a little on it but would like to here from those that had the tone
Mod Done on their 6000 Pro Or XL Pro......
Thankd doug

I have owned XL Pro's with the mod, and without. I personally did not use it much. I found I preferred the standard White's tone.

You may appreciate it though, it just was not for me.

I imagine once you get used to it, it would keep you from referring to the meter so often on targets

thanks Ken,
I appreciate your thoughts!

I use a modded Xl-Pro on a regular basis and love it.I still have a stock unit for a back-up.As near as I can tell, the tones get their information from the meter circuit but it's pretty neat to hear a good tone and check it against the meter. Also the tone works in all modes.DBULL
