I can't speak for the 12" super coil yet which I am plnning on buying in the next few weeks, but I can tell you that the deep scan is one of the best deep seeking coils made for the MXT. I have used mine for beach hunting and gold nugget hunting. It gets better depth than the stock coil in mineralized soil by at least 3 inches on a coin size object and is very sensitive to small objects. It's very quiet even when hunting in +1,2 & 3 sensitivity. Pinpointing is a little more difficult to get used too, but once you do it's not so bad. One other thing, if you find an object, say a quarter and the depth reading says 3" it's going to be most likely at least 6" deep. You won't be sorry buying this coil. Good luck and HH

I had an MXT and have used the Excelerator 14" coil on the east coast of central Florida. Great coverage and depth. Still have the coil and would let it go for
$100 shipped.
