White's Treasuremaster

Bought a new White's Treasuremaster just to see if it was any good. It has the same problems that the mx sport had, that white's has taken care of, but won't on the Treasuremaster. It's there low end metal detector, I was told and it won't perform like a higher end detector. I put a nail 18" apart from each other then a quarter and dime in between them. the dime and quarter was 6" apart. I could not tell that a dime or quarter was there when sweeping back and forth. Thats how bad the recovery time is, target response signal is like a comet trail that last so long it covers up the other targets. I don't hear anything from anyone about this problem on the forum. All I see is people are giving them away on youtube metal detecting channel, as a thank you for having so many subscribers.I would like to know if I am the only one having this problem.

I cant help you don't own one, but that doesn't sound real flash to me sure a Fisher in the same price range would kick that test easy.

hope you can get it sorted!!

That's a common complaint for users of the Treasuremaster detectors. They are made for the new users that don't know or recognize this fault.

I traded for a new Treasure Pro awhile back , ( One of the first one's ) and had a similar problem with it . I used it for a few weeks and didn't identify that it had a problem but I do know it wasn't Idling me targets as good as my other detectors did . I sold the detector to a more experienced person than me and he said it was ringing up good targets under different ID's and sounds than it should be . I offered to take it back and refund his money but he contacted Whites and they told him they would send him a newer one and take that one back . He said the new one worked ok when he got it . Mine would find some good targets like it should and some it didn't so I'm told . It's a bad thing that their producing and selling detectors and boxing them up and selling them not tested to see if there ok or not . It's hard for normal people to always figure out if there is a problem and what it is
