It's been some time since my last post but, I have been detecting and having fun. But here is why I'm writing today. I been having trouble keeping the machine balanced this has been a nagging problem sense May of this year and just figured it was the wet soil due to all the rain we

That is nice Garry enjoying your detector after all. But for air testing and overload I think that any coil could overload with tx boost on but depends. I think the test it is 15 gain with txboost off , no overload good coil.

" they asked me to do an air test (gain at 15 and TX boost on) and there it was. Overload!"

The correct test is RX15 with boost OFF!

I should have added that after changing the coil all worked and after we performed the same test and all was well, and machine stayed balanced with no overload.

Received the new coil and all is working as expected without overload and balanced out at 15 TX on. Its great to be back up and running.

Thanks again to a great American Company that stands behind there product.
