Would the Whites SPP PI with 2 tones and ground balance be a good beach machine?
The tones are intriguing . Maybe avoid the dig it all Pi problem.
Still not waterproof which is always a problem

A TDI is a very nice wet sand beach machine, but the SPP PI has pulse delay fixed at 10msec. I would miss being able to increase the pulse delay to stabilize the detector or to allow a faster sweep speed. Also, tiny iron can sound really good at 10 msec pulse delay, but probably will not be as enticing at an increased pulse delay. But you cannot argue with the increased depth at 10 msec!!
Being able to discriminate out non-nickle coins is nice too.
