I dont see much on the forum about this machine Im wondering what yall think about it and its performance compared to other whites machines?

Hi utah! Well, I've owned an XLT since they first came out way...WAY back in the 90's, and they are a great, solid machine. Basically, they are conventional White's VLF tech with a digital interface, meaning they are great for general coinshooting and relic hunting. The 6.59 frequency hits hard on coins but is kind of weak on small gold compared to the other White's machines. Depth is good and they ground balance well. A turf-hunter's delight! For around $400-500 for a good used one, they are great for the money & you really can't go wrong. But yes, check out the XLT forum here on findmall for lots more info.
