I sent in my 6000/XL-PRO to be checked out as it ran O.K.,But seemed to false more than it should and figured better now that they still have most the parts. Anyways got it back today they put on a new coil as my old one failed the frequency test and recalibrated the complete detector. The thing that suprised me is that even with out me saying anything they replaced all the knobs and swicthes so now they are tight and don't move easy like before when you swing the detector. Most manufacters only due what is told and sometimes don't get that rite! Anyways set it up for air test and rite away could tell it was smoother at higher signal balance settings with no falsing and the target I.D. locks on better on deep silver hits. To bad we got hit with are first snow as I can't wait for it to clear and get it out in the feild. So if any of you out there with older Whites detectors think yours isn't running up to par you shouldn't hesitate to send it in while they have most the part's.
