Recently I contacted White's service dept and told them that I had a detector (Beach Hunter ID) that was way past warranty, but I wanted to send it into them for an overall checkup to insure it was working at its peak performance. They advised me that it would be a $45.00 service plus parts if needed. It seemed that I had just put the detector in the mail, when I received it back in the mail. I opened the shipping invoice and I was shocked to see that there charges. I saw that they had replaced the coil as it was leaking, replaced the O-ring, replaced a cap(C-33) for possible drift, (I have no clue what that was), pressure tested the detector for leaks @30 ft. and last but not least they filled the battery pack with fresh batteries. Now if that don't beat all I don't know what will. White's wrote the book on customer service and that is why they are number one in my book. HH Dennis in Idaho
