White's Service:clapping:

Recently I contacted White's service dept and told them that I had a detector (Beach Hunter ID) that was way past warranty, but I wanted to send it into them for an overall checkup to insure it was working at its peak performance. They advised me that it would be a $45.00 service plus parts if needed. It seemed that I had just put the detector in the mail, when I received it back in the mail. I opened the shipping invoice and I was shocked to see that there charges. I saw that they had replaced the coil as it was leaking, replaced the O-ring, replaced a cap(C-33) for possible drift, (I have no clue what that was), pressure tested the detector for leaks @30 ft. and last but not least they filled the battery pack with fresh batteries. Now if that don't beat all I don't know what will. White's wrote the book on customer service and that is why they are number one in my book.:thumbup: HH Dennis in Idaho

I messed up when writting this post. There were no charges for service and parts. Sorry for the error. HH Dennis in Idaho

WOW, sounds like you've got a new machine ready to go swimming. I guess that's one of the reasones we stay with Whites machines. They go above and beyond. Thanks for sharing the outcome Dennis. Sure is nice to know that they haven't changed. HH to all, Nancy

This is yet another of the many examples of excellent service that Whites provides. They really know the value of treating their customers right.

Just curious, did you send direct to Whites in Sweet Home or one of their Private regional repair centers? Thanks!

I sent it to Sweet Home. HH Dennis in Idaho

That's why I say WHITES is #1.........:whites:..................:usaflag:

Even with the quick and complete makeover I'd expect to at least pay something for the parts. Good on them. Another company that goes beyond the expected has a name that starts with T. It's great to know that at least some of the makers really appreciate their customers.

I sent mine in to one of the private guys and it was bad, ended up sending it to Sweet Home and they never charge me for the other poor workmen ship. I will only send to White's from now on.
