Whites PRL-1 Is a Classic?

After looking at the specs and reading the manual and owning the Classic SL III, it sure looks like the Whites PRL-1 industrial locator is a re-labled Classic II.
Under the Made in the USA sticker you can adjust the ground balance or do the Mr.Bill mods like the Classic SL.
This is a 2 filter machine just like the Classics.
What do you fellows think, check it out.
Even in the downloaded PRL-1 manual Whites left in the words Classic II in the rehashed manual! We all new this detector was too good for Whites to just drop.

Don't waste your time converting that Classic 2 aka prl-1. I believe the coil is hard wired in? I was just following a Classic 3 sl on ebay and it just sold for under $60.00 Buy a Classic 3 and you'll already be way ahead of the Classic 2.

Shop for a clean and decent Classic III SL, or even a Classic ID or IDX Pro.

The PRL-1 is more of a simple 1-knob Classic, like the Classic I, but it has some "front end" circuitry changes so that it can use the Blue Max series of coils. The Classic I and Classic II do not. It does allow for interchanging search coils and can use the 5.3 BullsEye or similar 6
