Whites Prizm II

I found a Whites Prizm II for $70.00. Is this detector worth grabbing at this price? Anyone have experience or issues with it? Depth, batt life, weight, swing speed etc.
Thanks

The Prizm II is/was a reasonable, low priced model for a beginner or as a backup with fairly good capabilities. Depth is reasonable, weight is low, display is fairly accurate, it is a preset ground balance which can be a problem in mineralized soils. One big plus is there's a 4X6 shooter coil available now that is great for trashy areas and for getting closer to playground equipment in tot lots etc. Assuming everything is as it should be, $70 is a good buy IMHO.
