Whites pinpointer

My Whites pinpointer wont pick up silver coins. It will sound off on copper, nickle, tabs, screw caps. Anyone else have this problem ? Thanks. LJ
 
Contact Whites for an expert opinon as I have never heard of this problem in pinpointers as they are basically allmetal...
 
Boy, I don't see how that can be. They are all metal detectors. They work or they don't. Other than changing the switch two years ago, I've had no problems. Rob
 
Mine doesn't sound off until i am 1/2" from the target. There is a DX-1 in my fututre 3" from target is "Mo Bedda":thumbup:
 
I HAVE A WHITES BULLSEYE PINPOINTER IN ORIGINAL BOX EXCELLENT CONDITION [AS NEW] IT HAS HAD A H/D PLASTIC COVER PLACED OVER THE ROD SO AS TO MAKE IT SUPER H/D IT IS AN EXCEPTIONAL PINPOINTER AND SOUNDS OFF ON RING SIZE TARGETS AT 2,5-3 INCHES EASILY, IT IS AS I SAY ONE OF THE BEST BULLSEYE PINPOINTERS OUT THERE.
