WHITES PI PRO (ANY HELP, ADVICE WOULD BE NICE)

Just got myself a newish, (new to me ) Whites surfmaster pi pro ,can't wait to get to the beach ,any help on,
Setting up,
What types of signals to listen for,
How best to pinpoint, would be great
I have read the new book by Clive James Clynick Pulsepower finding gold at the shore (brilliant book), but if anyone can give me some hands on advice ,I need to make this pay for itself ,
I'm in the UK (Kent) with lots of cold weather and snow at present ,but lots of enthusiasm.

Dont know anything about the PI PRO,but; if you didnt get a manual with the machine,you can download one from Whites website.
We usually have mild winters here in the southern US, but this year its been a lot of rain and cold. Seems like it hits everytime I get
time off from work,lol. What luck.

I had one for many years and only sold it when I got my Dual Field.
Simple to use, only two knobs. Experience is the best teacher. You
can't go wrong using the pre sets. I dive and/or snorkel so I don't have
to deal with a long handled scoop, but I will tell you this, if you listen
for the whispers, you will get a work out. Deep seeking machine. If
in doubt, dig it. Any meal you go over, lots of trash, you will get a
signal. Pin pointing is easy as it only takes slight movement to get a
signal. Use it and good luck.
