Hey all,

I have both detectors and needed to replace the sliders for the ear cups. A portion of the slider fell into the cup and cannot be retrieved. The directions say to get some silicon in the ear cup and get it on the loose slider essentially gluing it inside the ear cup.

As an alternative, has anyone drilled out the drain hole at the bottom of the ear cup to get the piece out and then plug the hole with a rubber plug used to plug holes in the floor board of vehicles? I'm talking a 3/8" hole. I would also think that drilling a replacement drain hole would be necessary.

Your thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Aloha, Isaac
