Whites Parts, What dealer to go to?

TigerNed

Without having to go to Whites themselves, does anyone know who might be the best private dealer to go to for Whites parts? I'de rather give buisness to the little guy...
Ned

Any dealer can get the parts for you, but they come from the White's factory anyway, the various service centers probably carry them in stock. Depending on what you need, some parts are replaced free just by calling the factory.

Thanks Larry, I'll give them a call.....Ned

You will probably talk to Mary and what a sweetheart. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Factory 1-541-367-6121

Again, Thanks. It's not a very expensive piece I need for sure. I need the nut side of the bolt, that holds the forearm cup in place on the upper rod. Must have backed off on it's own, during my last hunt. NO, I didn't find it...LOL to be honest, not even sure what it looks like, hahaha. Could be a nut or knob type, like the bolted side has. Still have the knob ended bolt that slides through......
Guess I should mention, it's for a XLT Spectrum e=series....

call zepplin hobbies, they have a box full of left over stuff, they may mail order it to you, should be very cheap 973-872-0400 they are a whites dealer, if you type in 07452 zip code it will show up, I was just there last week and saw them

Just a thought---You can get most parts like on a detector at ACE hardware stores.Got one near me and they got every kind of nut and bolt etc you would ever want, shortribs

It seems like such a small thing - an arm cup nut that normally sells for a dollar... And of course, there's shipping too. Still not much.
But, when you consider all the calls they get in one day, and all the "free" parts they send out, plus the amazingly low labor and parts rates for detector repairs. I have no doubt that it really adds up.
People can (and do) argue all day long about who makes the "best" detector. Nobody can argue about who provides the best customer support! White's has a lock there. Because of their philosophy the only detectors I have ever owned are White's machines.
