Whites NIMH Battery pac ?

I was wondering if the Whites newer NIMH Rechargable Battery pac hold the charge for a long time with out recharging? I never was a big rechargable Battery guy but got a deal on a NOS Package so thought I would give it a try as my XL-PRO really eats the batterys.

RNB INNOVATIONS BATTERY!! FOUND THIS REVIEW,THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP ,I USE IT IN MY VX3 AND IT LASTS FOREVER

I have been using the AW-2200 in an older White's 6000 XL Pro machine. The battery life is most impressive and I think the physical design is excellent. The battery is very easy to remove from the detector and significantly lighter in weight than standard batteries or factory rechargeable packs. Every ounce of reduced weight adds up to a more enjoyable detecting experience out in the field. My 6000 XL pro just keeps on purring along on this battery for days of hard hunting for many hours. My 6000 just runs better on this battery - more stability and I swear even a bit more usable depth (vs the factory rechargable pack - which frankly doesn't compare, or regular alkaline batteries) due to the consistent power the machine is drawing from this fine piece of engineering. I have found the same result as another reviewer has stated as well - that the battery seems to have no diminished capacity when recharging before it has fully discharged- excellent! Again I will say that I am very impressed with this fine product - so much so that I look forward to getting the new battery that will be available soon for the new E-trac a I just purchased.

I also use the AW-2200 battery pack from RNB,one of the best detecting accessories that i have ever bought, its lighter, lasts so much longer and can go a long weekend and still have life left in the battery, never tried seeing how long it will actually last but it just keeps going. They also do a higher capacity battery pack as well that could go on for so much longer that you could forget when you last put one on charge.

A very good product and well worth the investment.

Thanks for the reply's as I bit the bullet and ordered that latest 3100 version this Morning. He claims I will get 70 Hrs. before a recharge? He also said it will hold a charge for months? I told him I will keep track and see how it does and if it is true I will sing his praise's everywhere I go !

i charged mine and it sat for 3 months and was still full, and then i used it numerous times before i had to charge it again,it's unreal how long they last..you will love it!!

Must admit although i dont own the higher capacity version,i doubt that the figure that he has quoted would be far out,at the time only the smaller version was available but even that still blows me away how long it lasts. This battery technology that they use means that it will hold its strength for a very long time with just a minimal amount of battery power.

You will be in for a very pleasant suprise

The RNB battery I got for my Etrac has been hands-down the best accessory I've ever purchased. Sounds like I'm going to have to get one for my M6 as well. Thanks for your opinions everybody!

Update, I took it out over the weekend for about 6 HRS. and check afterwords and sure enough needle was still pegged all the way to the rite full charge. Anyone familiar with the XL-PRO knows they are Battery hog's and with alkaline's it would have at least been a third drained. Another thing is I dug a 8.5'' Quarter that of course turned out to be clad,But the thing that surprised me was I was using the Bigfoot coil with Signal balance at 3:00. I never got that kind of depth out of this coil as they are known more for coverage? I know it sounds crazy as air test didn't show any depth increase, But feels like in ground I'm gettin' a depth increase? Anyways also lite weight as you can tell from swingin' the detector with the Bigfoot coil felt like a feather. Think I will pick up another for the Etrac in a week or so as I'm a believer now!

Thats very good feedback,it will be very interesting too actually see how long it will last in your detector,i reckon you could be in for a suprise going by mine in my DFX and mine is the smaller power outlet one.

go to golddiggermetaldetectors.com,he's a sponsor on this forum and has the newer rnb hp 3100 for whites..great price too!!
