Whites MXT on the beach

Why is it that I hear people are using relic mode on the each instead of coin and jewelry? Is there an added benefit?

I find that I can run hotter & get more depth while in relic mode.

High,
The relic mode has very little if any discrimination. It is more or less an all metal mode program.
The coin and jewellery mode on the other hand uses disc.
Thus numerous objects are emitted/notched out = less signals = less digging = fewer potential finds (because they register as iron).
On a beach I would always run in all metal.
Just my 2 bits worth.
