White's M6 Test Run

I took my newly acquired M6 to a modern school to see how it would do. It found clad coins faster than I wanted to dig them, so I left there and went to an older site. Right off I found a couple Indian Head nickels hidden amongst the rusty nails. I also dug an old button and a key chain tag that said "telegraph this number". I really like the M6 so far. I should get my 5.3 and 6 x 10 coils delivered next week. I can't wait to see how they work out.:)

I almost forgot, I found these the day before yesterday with the M6. The M6 is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.:bouncy:

Oh wow, that's awesome Tab; really makes me feel warm and fuzzy owning my own M6 that I just acquired. Now if I could only get out for a hunt now! Where were your settings at if you don't mind me asking? I will have to get used to the 950 coil because I have been running dd's so long now but just kicking around out in the yard without any headphones on, it seems I am getting deeper signals than I was on any of my other detectors and probably was not hearing some of them that I swept over for that reason. Were you also running in tones mode or just to check your signals? Thanks.

I used the factory presets with and without the tones. Like I said before, you're going to really like the M6 a lot.

Thanks for the setting info Tab. If I do that well then I'm gonna have a hard time ever sitting it down!

Nice finds there tabman,

I really like the Aetna ins. key tag, that is pretty old with the telegraph number, I have a similar one that is Masonic.

Just wondering if it is as fast at recovering in the trash as your Tesoros.

Good luck, but I think you've found it with the M6

I've not used the M6 enough to give an opinion on recovery speed as compared to my Tesoros. I'll say this, the M6 is fast. Also its high tone for dimes and quarters sure stands out in a bed of rusty nails.

Look's like your Tesoro's are going to get lonely! Also does the M6 have modulated audio where the deeper tones are softer? P.S. I love the cameo pin.
