Nice video. The 950 did better than I thought it would. Another great example your video showed is Why you should not rely on VDI numbers especially hunting trashy/iron infested sites. Watch video again but this time watch the display. A zinc penny by itself not being effected by other targets if I remember right comes in with a vdi of 65 or so on the m6.

Just bought another coil for the whites

For the nasty iron infested ghost towns that I hunt, when I was using the MXT & M6, I felt the best coil was the Eclipse 5.3 In those conditions, conditions that are kinda represented by the Nail Board Test, the 5.3 performed better than the SEF 8x6 and the 4x6 Shooter that I also had.

I bought the 8x6 dd ill do a testthen sell it and get a 5.3

The 8x6 will do ok on the Nail board. The 5.3 will better/cleanly disc. iron better and have a tighter VDI........it runs less erratic than a DD coil in nasty conditions.

Cool if you have one i can use it would be awesome, hows that fors core treating you?

Well, this is a Whites machine thread so I generally stick to subjects about Whites and Whites detectors.

Here's a nice little test you can run on the Nail Board ....use a Half Dime, a very small and thin old American coin. Every machine in my signature will cleanly hit it 8 for 8 on the Nail Board test except one machine.............. I kept it for sentimental reasons and sold the MXT Pro :)

Whats your main unit now, im thinking the m6 could fill any gap with my relic really nice

The Makro Racer 2 & Fors Core
If you scroll down to Nokta site..
Look for a heading titled All Metal....in that thread I explaine why I use the R2 & Core together as a team.
