White's lower shaft?

JHM

Member
Will the whites lower shaft work on the X-terra without a lot of modification? I would like to have some extra shafts to make coil change easier and faster. For 10 bucks, the whites shafts seem like a good deal

Although the shaft is similar in diameter, the part where the coil connects is much narrower on the White's. I'd guess about 2/3 as wide as the X-TERRA. I suppose you could redrill the holes for the locking tab and make it work. But it'd take a lot of rubber washers to fill that gap at the coil. JMHO HH Randy

Yes, I have done the Whites shafts. Just make up the difference with nylon washers, cost about 2 bux and it works great. I would not reccomend it for the 10.5 coils but it works great on the 6" coils..........
