Whites IDX SCORES

Went out on Saturday with my Whites IDX and Fisher 1280x to go in search of old coins around some of my favorite old colonial sites here in New Hampshire. My first site I was comparing signals with the Fisher 1280x to the IDX. I have used the IDX for almost a year now and I freakin love that machine....truthfully I like the simplicity and stableness over other machines I have field tested in the past. Including high-end machines ! I constantly hit large cents and Relics @ 8" in my tame soil. Yup I scored a beauty 1802 Draped Bust and it also confirmed a signal that ended up being a large cent that Fisher first got. The signal was louder and cleaner on the whites. But it was a very diggable signal on the Fisher, and the coin was 8" deep. I have a bunch of metal detecting videos just goto to YouTube and search my name Jeremiah Martel. Thanks and enjoy !

I really like the IDX Pro, mine is modded by Mr. Bill, dimes at 8" deep are easy with the Royal 800 coil. Nice large Cents that you found, they ring up as quarters on my machine, I would think that the IDX Pro would hit them at 10 inches or more. The IDX Pro likes to have a 'slight' + off set on the GB, been using mine close to 10 years. Nice hunt!
