Whites IDX, Fisher ID Excell, whites prizm v, or something better in same price range?

Hi,

I have been trying to get back into detecting and do not have the money I used to have when I owned the explorers and sov's and spectrums. I am pretty familiar with all brands except fisher, I have owned a machine from pretty much every major brand except fisher. I hear good reviews on all of them and have used many classic ID's and would like the IDX. How well are the new prizm's? I have been looking into a prizm on ebay I think I can get a fairly good price on. My money range is $250 for a good used one? I'm thinking I like the excell, prizm v, or the Idx so far though.

Richard of backwoods detector of this forum has a nice prizm v for sale right now ,in the metal detector classifieds you can't go wrong with Richard check his feedbback also its going for $330.00 I believe. He's really nice to deal with.

It is a good solid detector and many others like it also.
It might take a bit of learning as it does work a bit different.
There is a Coin$trike homepage that has a lot of helpful information.

The Excell is goning really cheap I see. I had one of them, But never took the time to use it much. I have an Idx pro also and really like it too. But I mostly just use a Tesoro Conquestador and a Fisher CZ3D. The CD is a deep machine. Just like all the CZ's. The coinstrike I think is the only Fisher brand detector that I have not tryed. But every now and then someone swears by them. I think they are mostly all good, A person just has to learn what they are telling you.

Travis if you go with the CoinStrike you are over your 250 Dollar budget. If you move to the 300-400 price range lots of other detectors to choose. There are a lot of CoinStike owner's that never liked that unit including myself.
