Whites Headphone Wiring

Member
Restoring a pair of Whites phones as a soldering project to do with my teenage son. This has a separate control for each ear. The two loose long black ones I suspect go directly to the speakers. I cant tell where the short yellow and blue one went. These come from the main cable entering the phone and I suspect they should go to one of the three post available for the volume control pot. Any body been in there? I know we can also have fun touching the wires here and there and listening. Also could open and peak at the other side but would rather not.. Just wondering if there was a schematic somewhere. Thanks for any input, Good hunts, CO

Try this link at the White's forum. You failed to mention the model of the headphones. Click on the 2 pictures on the links page to see wiring.

Terra, thanks for the link, that looks like a higher model. The one i have is called the basic, can be seen bottom of Whiteelectonics , products, headphone page. They dont have that multi screw terminal in it. Read your stuff at other sites. Good Hunts, CO
