Whites GM/3 as a general MD?

I could possibly get my hands on a GM/3 with two different coils, for approx $150. I do not intend to hunt for nuggets, but would it be a suitable machine to keep as a spare one hunting for relics in "quiet" soil?
 
It would have you digging slivers of lead. Extreme sensitivity to small items.

Buy it for $150 and I will give you $300 if it is very clean. I would nugget hunt with it.
 
Thanks for the answer! I know it is a steal, but I am also looking at "do I really need it"-factor. And atm, I think I do not need it. I could point you to where to get it no problem, but it happens to be that both the detector and I reside in Sweden, so the freight would probably outweigh the savings.
