Whites eclipse Shooter DD ???????

Its 3 1/2 x7 in size. What is the area that this is best used for? I don't think I have seen any reference for this size. I'm thinking maybe places you might be looking for gold. Around rocks and crevices etc. Thanks for any info.

Actually listed as 4X6. Good for what you mention and very good for separating good targets from heavy trash as well as allowing one to get closer fences, playground equipment etc. I love mine.

[size=large]you may want to look into whites 6x10 instead for prospecting. thats the coil i've been seeing others recommend for gold . others seem to use the 6x10 for all around use. you sure seem to be in the right area for it.

My mxt with a dd shooter smokes a dime buried in my test garden 7 inches or more held slightly above the ground in my soil here in Michigan.I.D. was less informative than my 6x10 bouncing around dime quarter 50 cents.

I have the 4x6 and the 6x10 and both of them are great for trashy areas. When I got my mxt pro with the 12" coil, it was recommended that I get the 4x6 shooter for trashy areas and they were right. Later I got the 6x10 because it seemed I liked the smaller and lighter 4x6 so much I pretty well used it all the time but I wanted to get more coverage. Now I use the 6x10 pretty much all the time except for EXTREMELY trashy areas. I wouldn't part with any of them!

I'll second KY's comments. Those are the two coils that serve me well most of the time.

Thanks for all of the advice. I have not been able to use the mxt much since i bought it. Mainly use the 12inch in the tot lots and parks. I have found coins but no rings or jewelry.Going to sacramento in a couple of weeks to visit my daughter and will take the shooter and try it out. Just got back from Reno Nv and could not find any silver in any of the slots either. Hope I do better looking for gold. Happy hunting
