White's Eclipse DD 6 x 10" vs stock 10" coil ?

Just got a Eclipse 6x10 and was wondering how it compares to the stock 10" DD coil as far as depth and separation?

In my ground, it isn't a deep coil. On elliptical coils they get the approximate depth of a round coil equal to its width. Therefore it should get the depth of a 6" round coil.

Separation is better than the D2 after all it is only 6" wide compared to the 10" width of the D2 and both are DD coils.

You know how it is with coils, everybody has their favorites. On some forums people can't do without the 6x10. For my hunting styles I just don't happen to use it anymore.
