Bought mine in 1994 and never used it. Just found it in storage and am enjoying it. Very easy to use. I also just bought the Coinmaster GT the other day and used it today. Found one commerative quarter and 3 coppercents. Nothing old, but still fun. The cm gt is easy to use if you read the manual. These are the only md I have ever used but they work for me. So,,now I have 2 NEW md and will enjoy both. Harbor Freight has NiMH battsfor cheap. Time to get busy.
 
I got mine in 1994 too and it has been a favorite of mine. It's a little on the heavy side but still a great machine
