Anyone know anything about the White's Eagle PROgrammable detector? I think it is also Called the Eagle I. Here is a pic.

My dad has one and I've used it for years but that doesn't mean I know much about it. What are you wanting to know? It's an old but very good detector I think.

It was Whites first Digital Machine in around 88.............. It is multi layered on the pads..Is a deep detector. stable, and the forerunner of The Eagle SL 90 model.. It has the great Motorola chip too. I think at one time it was touted by Whites to be upgradeable with new items as they came out.. Has three settings if I remember maybe 4 coins Beach relic. ???..A very good detector just a little rough on the wrist due to handle placement.. Once you learn it it's a decent detector still.. Way ahead of it's time in 1988..
