White's DFX?

Detector_Pat

New member
I currently own a MineLab Explorer II. I like the machine but would also like to try a DFX. I used to own a Spectrum XLT, and loved that machine, especially while pinpointing. Does the DFX have the same process for pinpointing as the XLT has?? Also, has anyone gone from the Explorer II to the DFX? I am just wondering how much I would lose by going with the DFX? I plan on keeping the Explorer also. Just looking for opinions. I am just curious as to how much is missed by a machine using only 2 frequencies as compared to 28 of the Explorer. Any comments are welcome.

Talk with DFX GREGG and you will see that the DFX is one hot detector.
I had one but I had to sell it to buy my GP3500.
It will pinpoint on a DIME and will go deep into China the key is to learn the detector( Is it a good detector yes yes yes.)
Will it be a backup detector to your minelab yes and will your minelab be a backup for the DFX yes.
With the two detectors you will hunt all coins from the USA to China.
Oh if you get the DFX buy the 5.3 coil and you will have one of the best coin hunter around.

First I would post this on the dfx classroom forum. Think it will draw a few more responses. I think the strongest point of the dfx is its pinpointing accuracy. I mainly skim the first 4 to 6 inches for clad and take anything else that comes along. Stop in the dfx forum and you will find every type of hunter and NH Ron has an explorer and a dfx.:detecting:
