Whites DFX or Minelab Explorer?

nmex

New member
Ok,
I have been considering selling my Explorer XS which I bought new. I have not used it much and know that it takes time to master this detector. I am curious if I should sell it and go with the DFX? Is it easier to use and just as good as a machine? These are the current detecors I have:
1988 Garrett Grand Master Hunter II on loan to brother
1990 Compass Gold Scanner pro Bought New
1990 Whites Eagle II S
1990.5 Whites Eagle II SL
1986 Whites 6000 DI pro
2005 Whites XL PRO Just bought 2 days ago.
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Matt

Depth is about the same. Its better than the current detectors you have.Tone id is way better than the Explorers. The vdis and tone range are much more expanded.I wouldn't say it is easier to learn, that is probably about the same also.Dave
