I'm looking into buying one of these two machines. Primarily will be used for coinshooting, but other searching as well. Both are in the same price range. Can anyone give any advice as to which one they would recommend and why? Thanks

Hey Falzee. If you post your question on the Whites main forum I'm sure you'll get plenty of good input. Good luck.

IDX Pro.......It has a ID meter.

The two detectors are identical except that the IDX Pro has a meter that shows probable target ID using icons. I'd take the IDX but in areas like the beach where it's dig everything, the Classic III will do a great job also.

IMHO IDX PRO hands down
