whites classic II VS III

Eric

New member
Had both but want to get one again... Just love those classics.

Is the III that MUCH better in overall performance? I always try to find an answer myself for this question. I had a ball with both detectors. Detecting on farmfields and forrests..

Thanks, Eric.

The advantage is with the Classic III. Not a lot, but a little. There are a few more options to use. First you can use the coils for all the other Whites of the same frequency The Classic III's utilize the more universal coil like HI, 8b,coils that are used on most Whites of the period. You have a frequency adjustment, and a dual range discrimination with the "Normal / Black Sand" switch. You also may find there a bit more sensitive.

.Most Classic II's use the older style 6b coils, and there really not compatible with any other.

If this is a unit your going to have modified, the differences are far less.
