Whites Bullseye II Pinpointer Air Test

Mr. Beard

Member
After looking at some of the pinpointer tests on the tube that were not very informative as to the actual reading for many different items, I decided to make one of my own.

Here is a video of an air test I did yesterday on the Whites Bullseye II pinpointer. I used a fresh battery and set it as per the Whites instructions.

I prefer a pinpointer with more "poop" than the bullseye. At least in the neighborhood of 2". I get that and more with the Sunray DX-1 on my MXT.

And nice music too!............. I could'nt hear what the pinpointer was doing, but I am guessing that 1 inch was the best it could do:nopity:

Get the best depth on a test...so basically most say 1/2 to 1 inch and looks you are in the right ballpark...Pretty much the same for most handheld units with some getting a bit more depth...

I believe the TreasureMate and the Garrett's will just about double that.

I just wanted to show a better test of this pinpointer, than the ones I have seen on other "test" videos.
