White's Blue & Gray meter assembly, something different

Old California

New member
Modified a White's 5900 DI-Pro into a Blue & Gray several months back, Then switched out the stock meter housing with an XLT meter housing and replaced the original 5900 ID plate with a Blue & Gray relic plate.

Same 5900 analog meter components, Just fabricated into a smaller meter housing. Added a TDI Detector stand, something different. Always wanted a Blue & Gray, finally have one.

Thanks for looking.
Paul

Real quality piece of workmanship, looks like it came from the factory its that good a quality, admire you artistic skills

Thank you Mega,

Indeed, I like it too. Never did I imagine would have one like this model, it's different and in great condition.

Going to get a smaller coil, 950 is a little too big for trashy areas.

Thanks again,
Paul

Paul,
You must have close to more Modified machines
than stock machines. You surely are the
King of Mods. here in the States. I'very seen others
Mods. and most can't even COMPARE....
Great job as always and wish you the Best!!!

Thank you Jimmy for the kind words, Glad I had the proper components to make it work.

Actually, Did this same meter assembly mod on a White's 6000 DI-Pro SL about 15 years ago. But, I've always favoritied the 5900 DI series instead due to manual ground balance.

The Periscope Probe picked up from you is working great, appreciate you letting me have it that too a great piece of equipment. Technology wise, The Periscope Probe was ahead of its time and even to this day it's the only type of its kind.

Thanks again Jimmy,
Paul
