White's BeachHunter ID

Any one know if there are other coils, such as DFX coils or the 12 inch coil that comes on the White's Beach Hunter 300 can be used on the older White's Beach Hunter ID? I realize the stock coil is hard wired. I am pretty handy with a soldering iron.

I've done that mod a few times. I've used the 12'' 300 coil on an older BHI.D unit. that had the 9.5 coil. It works. It does require a little retuning tho.


Any DFX coil will work on the unit . I've gone as far as installing a 10'' D2 Which to me was a great combo. Now if you find a nice 12x10'' DD NEF coil for the DFX your way .in business. .
