Does anyone have feedback on the 6000 di pro sl ? How do you set it up from start up?Thank you cjm45

Hi C.J.M., I have a nice 6000 di pro sl, but don't use it much. It is a back killer, I just can't swing it long. I have a broken back, and it makes it hard to do. I have some books on the detector, I will look it up and send you the startup settings. It is raining here this will give me something to do. I will get back with you soon. flintstone

Yep ,been there have three spinal fusions, one neck fusion, one year ago had a complete right shoulder replacement ,yep takes 'C' batteries no wonder its heavy:yikes:I am in Texas finally got some rain this past two days.Long time ago Randy fro m/l exterra forum told me that the 6000 di pro sl had the best disc.made from all analogs detectors:unsure:He moved from Iowa to some where here at around Rockport Texas, about 85 miles from here.
Thank you appreciate your help,by the way does it have any depth?cjm45

That was one of the all-time-great machines. Very versatile. Good on land and salt water beaches, etc....

Just set it on all the knob presets "P" . And adjust accordingly from there, for your preferences.

I have the 5900 which doesn’t have the volume control and also doesn’t have the auto ground balance...you should be able to go onto Whites website and download the manual... basically I put all my dials on “ p” then ground balance by putting into GEB norm mode, bob coil while adjusting tuner knob ... once you get use to it you can run signal balance about 75% full ... great machine for hunting trashy areas ... fast recovery, you can cherry pic dimes and quarters even in areas trashed with can slaw, just dial up disc till zinc pennies disappear and your set... despite being 6.59 frequency it hits very good on small gold including chains if set up hot....pinpoint is very good too.I just use a screwdriver when park hunting..I pry up anything 4” deep or shallower...depth is good too,not crazy like multi frequency machines but good nonetheless... the small 5.3 round coil is a great accessory to have with it.. I find the older original thinner pancake coils are a lot more sensitivie than the thicker later replacement coils..good luck...

are the Troy Shadow X-5, and Tek Mk-1 for TID & tones.
(where in Texas?)
