White's 6000/5900 DI PRO SL battery mod (lipo)

Hello gents!
Here are some informations.
I airbrushed an old and yellish 4 C battery holder, then I replace contact support with a plastic one.
For my mod I used a Turnigy Nano-tech 7,4V (2200 mah) and reduced output voltage with an Hobbywing voltage regulator to 6V, then protected my machine by a 300 mah fuse.

I am waiting a 2S buzzer that will be connected just before voltage regulator to let me know when lipo will be at the discharge limit of 6V.

Here are some shots of my mod.

Looks nice, I am thinking about doing the same for my Eagle spectrum. Let us know how long the 2200 mAh battery life is.

So how did this all work out?
I'm wanting to do the same for my old whites 6000 di pro.

Guess my biggest question is
If you were doing it today, what would you do different?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, what i use now? N. 2 3000 mah panasonic 18650 lipo batteries and a dedicated charger ( in a specific battery holder with integrated PCB protection). Nothing ligther and better around. No problems with a little overvoltage (8V), my 5900 runs smooth and safe as a baby...Turnigy lipos were too dangerous imho, i left them some months stored and what I found were cells with clear signs of stress and swelling...discharged.
