whites 5900 gb pot repair

Chick

New member
I am in the Texas Hill Country. I just picked up a Whites 5900 at a garage sale. It is in excellent condition just a bit dirty. I want to sell or trade it so I decided to clean it. I removed the knobs and cleaned around the shafts. While pressing the knob back on to the shaft of the gb control, I broke the potentiometer, I guess that's what it is. Instead of stopping at each setting, it just turns round and round. Is this a repair/replacement that I can do or do I need to send it off? If I need to send it off, any recommendations as to where?
Thanks

It's a ground balance adjustment knob...........that's the way they are. You did'nt break it.
