Okay, I remember back in the OLD days of the 5000 di/series 2 and the 6000/d that if you bumped the coil on something on the ground (not to say beat it on rocks) but something like a dirt clump or stiff grass clump the detector would sound off with a chirp. Does the later Whites machines like the 5900/Di Pro-sl do the same thing? (I was running the stock 950 coil)
Or does mine have a problem and need to be sent back to Whites??
Maybe something like the 950 coil is more likely to do that than a smaller coil?
