White's 5900 Di Pro Plus

I have a 5900 Di pro plus and the stem to the blue max deep scan 950 coil is broken. What coil will work on this machine? Should I get another 91/2 inch coil or get a smaller 7 or 8 inch coil? I have the 5 inch coil that came with it and it works great in trashy areas. The machine was recently serviced and is working good. My last outing, I considered a good day. Thanks for your help.

950 is 'OK' but personally prefer one of the thin-profile 8" coils, such as the Royal 800 or ProScan 800 for general 'cruising' work.

In trashy sites, I like one of the three 6
 
Monte, Why do you like the 8" coil over the 950 for general hunting? Does it handle the ground better? I want to know Because I have good depth in sandy soil with 950, but in the woods not so much so. on an IDX.
 
I love my 5900 B & G modded with multi tone.
I found 9,5 deeper that Royal 8 that is better for trashy grounds.
