Still hoping to find older 3000 PI machine. Should be some around. I'm still using the older models. Keep me posted, thanks
 
The newer Whites PI's are more sensitive, especially the high gain ones and the dual loop. I used the old 2000 and 3000 and every upgraded PI since. Some of the 3000's had poorly wound loops and were lacking in low conductive (gold) sensitivity. I am mtldet and you can find me on aol or google search for Dale Rohlf.
