Are you water hunting?

How long have you had your machine?

Are you experienced with a PI machine?

These are questions that may help you get the answers you are looking for if you fill in the blanks for us..

You ask some very good questions, water hunting 5 years ,have been using it 4or 5 hours a day for the past 2 weeks, You are never an experienced Pi hunter that would mean you never dig false objects lol

It would be interesting to hunt with you and follow you with the same kind of machine you are using to see if I found items you are missing if any.

Sometimes one hunter can hear a little better perhaps and will detect those tiny signals that another hunter may not hear or be able to seperate from all the chatter he hears in his earphones.

One hunter may be able to tell the difference between a solid hit and one that is a "maybe" and another may not have that well trained an ear.

I have found more gold investigating the "maybes" than with solid hits.

Most of the machines I have used work better on "all ahead slow" and I have on one occassion found five gold rings following two hunters footsteps when they went away empty handed!

Are your quarters in a row? During the winter months the storms seem to line up rows of coins parallel to the surf line. This is known as a target line and often it will be just one type of coin. It all has to do with the weight of an object, the wave action and ocean currents. When you are digging, just look back and you will find your holes in a line.
