I was messing around air testing my Excalibur. I ran a 14K yellow ring by it, and it made a low, good, repeatable tone. Then i ran the 14K white ring, which is considerably heavier than the yellow, and it made a low tone, but it blipped, and cracked. Do any of yall know why? It sounds like i might pass over it thinking it was junk. From now on im gonna dig everything except for what i know is iron. The Excal can pick up good items next to iron, ive found many coins sitting right next to iron, but it makes a signal that sounds alot like junk.

P.S.
Some other hints i found air testing with Excalibur...
Gold rings are blocked out of the Excal around the 9 disc. area.
Sounds seem to vary slightly depending on where the Threshold is.
