Which Tesoro is Best for North Ga and SC

I know this is sorta stupid question and am thinking lil about Cibola and Silver Umax,,,I will be mostly in North Ga area along with SC including the beach area and lowland area,,,,Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,,,Thanks,,,,,Darrell

I would inquire at a local mult line dealer or perhaps at a local club what works best in your area and hope one of your neigbors adds some input...Live in N.E. Pa. and all I know is you fellows hunt while I shovel snow but might suggest a manual ground balance model as understand in places Ga. has some tough dirt or clay....

Darrel, the Cibola or Silver U max will work fine in the SC lowcountry but add in North Georgia and then it's a different ball game because of the highly mineralised soil.

My suggestion would be the Tejon or the Vaquero. With the adjustable ground balance you will be able to hunt in both locations with maximum depth and sensitivity.

I live in North Ga. redclay and slate is what my ground consist of, the Vaquero in my opinion the go to beep and dig detector and it does very well and gets good depth! I have used the Cibola to here it works well and gets pretty good depth the widescan coils make it get a little more depth but they don't discriminate as good as the concentric coils, in other words you will dig more iron!

I would choose the lobo s.t. for genera coin hunting I use 8x9 coil hits hard in my soil dug a Wheatie about 9 inches measured.A test garden dime buried 7 inches held about an inch over steady two way hit.Automatic ground tracking for bad soil it sleeper machine does better in the ground then air test.It runs quiet sensitivity about 9 around emi.Tomorrow a hunt is planned in the woods with the lobo st ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,CEDAR
