Which Sovereign Metal Detector Coil Should I keep the 10x12 SEF or the 10" Toronado Coil can't make up my mind i haven't used either yet. Thank you

Depending on the area you are detecting both of them have their use. I use both. The ten in areas with emi and trashier areas. The 10X12 every where else.

Cant ever go wrong with the standard coil tuned to the detector. BUT.... i used the SEF on my Explorer and never took it off for dirt hunting even. If you are beach hunting..... the SEF seems a little more chatty near the water causing you to turn it down some...... at that point the standard coil is its equal except in coverage.

Both are great coils and have excellent depth. The SEF coil for me had better separation, but I had more experience and confidence in the Minelab coil so my choice was the 10"Tornado. Good luck.
