I was thinking of adding a Tesoro to my collection.
Which Tesoso for up to around 450 is the best and deepest for coins and relics. Not much into nugget hunting. I have heard that the Eldorado is pretty deep is this correct? I am mainly interested in something that gets them deep and has manual ground balance. I do not like the newer ones that is factory set like my Ace 250. It is ok but I want to learn by HEARING IT not just seeing it.
Thanks for the input.

I know that you can pick up a Vanquero for a bit less than 450. It has the Manual Ground Balance.. No Display and the new HOT technology that Tesoro touts.
I use a Tejon.. LOVE the machine myself.

The Vaquero sounds like the ticket. The Eldorado can be had for 100-150 less than that, but I've heard good thing about the Vaqueros abilities.

I've been field testing the Vaquero since early November and my finds have been impressive..to me at least..lol Light weight, good discrimination and depth. Very good detector for the price. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
