Which models are newest?

The Vaquero and Cibola were both the last "new" machines introduce, at the Onalaska GPAA gold show in 2005. Two years before was the introduction of the Tejon. Before that I beleive the DeLeon is next and then the Cortes.

The 'Three Amigos' (V, C, & T) are based on the new High Output Technoolgy (HOT) and have monolithic shielded coils, and are considered the deepest detecting machines in the Tesoro line up.

the original Bandido come out? Believe it or not mine will hit a 9" deep penny buried in our sandy soil (S.E. Va.). I had to replace the white coil with the brown 8" donut coil.

If that's the order, what about the Lobo. It's older, but the hot coils work on it as well.

March, according to Tesoro. I had a couple of hot 8" white coils that I used for years. Most of the time I had a 7" concentric coil mounted, but when I wanted to go with an 8", I had better overall performance with the white coils than from the brown 8"

The brown 8" coil was the one when I recall Tesoro first using their reference to "monolithic shielding" etc.

A great performing 'original' Bandido is, in my book, one of the best metal detectors ever made by any manufacturer!

The Super Traq Lobo came out around 1997 but the original Lobo goes back even further. When tesoro developed the Tejon/Vaq/Cibola line up they purposely designed them to mate with existing Lobo technology and coils. A wise move since there was already a good array of coils in production.

on the Lobo (original).

The original Lobo uses different coils and shouldn't be confused with the LST when considering the newer, wide assortment of search coils.

Yeah I wish I still had mine. A real coin thumper. Used to get targets so deep the signal was just a whine spread over a large area and I had to whip the coil over the target to get an audible signal to pinpoint with.
