Thinking of getting a Teroso as a beach detector; which model will handle the wet & dry sand best and hit on smaller gold items. Any helpful info needed so that i can try to get right one 1 first time. Thanks Gene

If you are talking salwater beaches then I would say none...except their PI is not bad.
Now the Tigershark is fine in dry beach sand...and not too bad in wet sand as long as you are in areas of the counrty where the sand is mostly coral and or shells.
If you live in areas where the sand is made up from say rocks...like in new england where alot of it is or was granite millenia ago...then the Tiger shark can't handle the iron rich sand combined with the wet salt.
If you live along parts of the Carolinas and FLA and the sand is nice and pinky white....no problems.
In case you are not sure..take a magnet to the beach..drag it through some sand..if you black sand stuck to your magnet then you need to either consider a PI or a machine from another manufacturer.
If you are just going to hunt freshwater lakes then the tigershark is..to me alteast....one of the finest freshwater machines going.

You pretty much nailed it Scott Me...All I'd add is that if you are hunting saltwater beaches only then you might as well go with the Sandshark PI for any location as there will be little iron left anyway. Besides, beach hunting is easy digging so you are best to dig it all anyway.
