Which machine to buy...

Just thought I would ask for input. I am getting a new machine and am wondering which machine to buy??? I do 50 50 salt an freshwater. I use a whites an fisher 1280. I am gonna get a new machine...an budget is not an issue. Its just which machine. I was interested in excall II but wary about the wire problems on it. I am open to any major brand...with a lean towards excal.

Any input would help. I know I don't want a PI...thats about it. I know, its a stupid question. Thanks. -Joe

the wires went on my xcal2 both the battery and the headphones ( now i have an older xcal as back up ) i think the reason for my wire problems is that i hip mounted in front of me and when swinging the coil with out knowing i moved them around to much now ( when the excal2 comes back from the SPA in Chicago i got my self a shaft that will put the unit above my elbow i hear its great balance like that

even with the problem i will always use excal machines

If you dont want to consider a PI machine then go with the Excal 2 and order the straight shaft for it. http://www.kellycodetectors.com/accessories/shafts.php Makes it nice and balanced. Its always my go to machine. And like anything else take good care of it and it will take care of you.
